My name is Kay Chornook and I have just published a book about the history of conservation in Monteverde and specifically the story of Wolf Guindon, Quaker pioneer and founder of the community and the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.

The book is called Walking with Wolf: Reflections on a life spent protecting the Costa Rican wilderness. We have written about the last fifty-eight years in Monteverde, including the creation of the Children's Eternal Rainforest, mentioning Tina Jolliffe who founded CTF-UK.

I am going to be in London, England on October 26, 27 and 28th, 2008. I wonder if you would be interested in a presentation about this book. I'm sorry this is short notice, but I have booked this trip last minute. I would be interested in meeting some of the people involved in raising monies for Monteverde, where I have lived part time for eighteen years. This is an important book that would be of interest to your supporters.

If you are not able, in this limited period, to host a presentation, perhaps you know another organization in the London area that would be.

Thank you for your support. Peace Kay Chornook, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada kchornook@rogers.com
